Chris Karrasch has joined our medical team as the newest Orthopedic Surgeon.
Dr. Chris Karrasch is excited to join the orthopedic team at Central Valley
Medical Center in August 2017. After completing his two- year LDS mission
in Hartford, Connecticut, Dr. Karrasch attended the University of Nevada,
Reno receiving his bachelor and medical degrees. He recently completed
his five-year orthopedic surgery training at Penn State, where he served
as Chief Resident and was nominated as an American Orthopedic Association
Emerging Leader.
Dr. Karrasch is currently sub-specializing in arthroscopic surgery and
sports medicine at the Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center
under the direction of one of the fathers of sports medicine, Dr. Frank
Noyes. This prestigious fellowship is providing him with excellent training
in treating complex knee and shoulder problems as well as caring for the
aging athlete.
Dr. Karrasch makes it a priority to get to know his patients on a personal
level. He values educating patients on various treatment options in order
to provide personalized orthopedic care.
