Dietary Department

Central Valley Medical Center’s dietary and nutrition staff are dedicated to providing you with nutritious and delicious meals.

Your physician will determine your diet while you stay with us. We offer a selective menu for patients without dietary restrictions, whereas patients with dietary restrictions will be offered a non-select menu. Meals are served to patients three times a day. If you desire to have food brought in, please check with your nurse to make sure it fits within your dietary guidelines.

We offer three meals daily to patients:

  • Breakfast 7:30 AM
  • Lunch 12 Noon
  • Dinner 5:30 PM

Guest Trays Guest trays may be purchased through the dietary department.

Public/Visitor Meals Available

  • Lunch 12 Noon – 1:30 PM

Vending Machines

Vending machines are located in the dining room and the emergency department waiting room.

Consultation Services

Consultations for diabetes, cardiac and obesity related issues are provided by a registered dietitian upon physician referral.
