Central Valley Medical Center Named One of Forbes’ Top Hospitals in Utah
Central Valley Medical Center is proud to announce that it has been recognized as one of Forbes’ Top Hospitals by State for 2026, earning a five star overall quality rating. Of the 10 Utah hospitals to receive Forbes’ highest rating, CVMC is the only rural hospital.
For our organization, this recognition is especially meaningful. As a rural, critical access hospital, CVMC has always believed that exceptional healthcare should be available close to home. Being recognized alongside some of Utah’s largest hospitals demonstrates that the quality of care a community receives is not determined by the size or location of its hospital. It is shaped by the people who show up each day with skill, compassion and a commitment to doing what is best for every patient.
Forbes developed its ratings using healthcare quality measures from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Hospitals were evaluated across four areas: patient outcomes, hospital best practices, value and patient experience, with the greatest emphasis placed on clinical outcomes such as mortality, infections and readmissions.
