Nephi, Utah: Central Valley Medical Center is proud to announce that Dr.
Robertson Ward has joined our medical team as the newest Family Medicine doctor.

"He provides a great blend of top- notch clinical care and knowledge
with a strong passion for providing community-based care.”
Dr. Ward is Board Certified in Family Medicine with advanced training in
Bio-Identical Hormone Treatment, Functional Medicine and Addiction Medicine
and has always had an interest in holistic medicine. He has continued
to make home visits since his training in the early days. He sees the
patient as part of a family unit as well as their cultural and genetic
background. He also has advanced training in Functional Medicine, which
applies principles of natural remedies to traditional medicine. This allows
complex medical problems to be treated together more easily, instead of
a list of issues separately.
"The privilege of medical practice is rooted in partnerships with
patients," said Dr. Ward “Which also extends to each person’s
individual health when we search for problems and find solutions which
include not just treating disease but also empowering and strengthening
our health."
After attending medical school at the University of Illinois; Dr. Ward
completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Cincinnati
where he was recognized as the CIBA resident of the year. He started a
rural practice in nearby Butler Kentucky (population 550). He practiced
for more than 30 years in Kentucky, before he decided to relocate in 2015
to Utah when he married a Provo, Utah resident.
