Central Valley Medical Center Appoints New Chief Nursing Officer

Nephi, Utah August 2018 – Central Valley Medical Center (CVMC) is very pleased to announce Jared England, RN, BSN as its Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Prior to accepting this new position, he served as Emergency Department Manager at CVMC.

Jared England has been a part of the Central Valley Medical Center family for more than ten years. He began his career as a part-time Certified Nurse Assistant then shortly after completed his Licensed Practical Nurse and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees. During his time at CVMC, Mr. England has had diverse experience in nursing administration and patient care. He has exhibited remarkable leadership qualities and has performed exceptionally well. His influence has been felt throughout the organization and CVMC is confident in his ability to lead the Nursing Department in positive ways with vision and direction.

Mr. England grew up in northern Utah. He was raised on a dairy farm in a small community near Plain City, Utah and attended Weber High School. While attending Weber State University he was a full-time dairy farmer, a career he truly loved. His family moved to Nephi in early 2007 with the plan to remain in the dairy industry. However, a desire to further his education motivated him to return to school. He attended Weber State’s outreach program through Snow College. He has since enjoyed the variety of areas he has worked in including Medical-Surgical Nursing, Surgery Department, Emergency Department, and most recently serving as the Emergency Department Manager.

As Chief Nursing Officer, Mr. England will oversee all nursing activities and more than 127 staff and registered nurses throughout five departments who ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality care at Central Valley Medical Center. Additionally, he will direct the development of initiatives for formulating and implementing new nursing strategies along with keeping staff educated on the latest innovations and techniques.
