Central Valley Medical Center had the opportunity to provide another amazing
Spring Health Fair. The CVMC Annual Spring Health Fair of the year was
held on May 13, 2017 at CVMC’s Nephi Campus. This half day event
invited all community members to take advantage of several of the most
popular health screenings at a discounted price during the health fair
event. The tests offered by CVMC included Comprehensive Metabolic Profile
(CMP), Lipid Test, Complete Blood Count, Prostate Specific Antigen, Thyroid
Stimulating Hormone (TSH), and an A1C screening for diabetes; along with
free blood pressure checks, blood glucose tests, oxygen saturation checks,
and balance screenings.
Showing their support for CVMC and the community, local vendors set up
booths at the fair to help inform and educate community members about
different health topics, they included: Nebo Vision Clinic, Dr. Jared
Clegg Podiatrist, Central Utah Public Health, Utah Highway Patrol, Nephi
Smiles, Nephi Police Department, Nephi Fire Department, East Juab Ambulance
and EMS, AirMed Utah, USU Extension Services, Mountainland Head Start
Program, WaspFit, CVMC’s Dwayne Horton-LMFT Counselor, Central Utah
Counseling, Face Painting with Candace Flesher, and Blankenagel’s
Backyard Bouncers.
