The annual Back 2 School Health Fair is the second CVMC health fair of
the year and was held on August 9, 2017 at CVMC’s Nephi Campus.
This is a fun fair dedicated to helping local families with elementary
aged children in the home get ready for a new school year. CVMC donated
over 200 school supply bags filled with notebooks, pencils, crayons, colored
pencils, rulers, glue, erasers, and school folders.
We had a blast! CVMC held a 1-Mile Fun-Run for kids in the morning to kick
off the event. After that, it was a day of fun activities including face
painting, backyard bouncers, great healthcare services, health tips, sports
physicals, and great health awareness booths. All the event vendors and
health screenings were available to the public providing a wealth of information
on topics such as diabetes, drug, and alcohol abuse prevention, nutrition,
healthy lifestyles, and many others.
CVMC had a great time putting this event on and what a good time it was!
