Comprehensive Metabolic Profile and Lipid Profile with CBC

Cost: $25.00 or for Age 60+ will be $5.00
The Comprehensive Metabolic Profile and Lipid Profile with CBC require fasting at least nine (9) hours before the test.
This test provides important information about the current status of your kidneys and liver as well as electrolyte and acid/base balance and levels of blood glucose and blood proteins; to monitor known conditions, such as hypertension, and to monitor the use of medications to check for any kidney or liver-related side effects. The Lipid Profile test assesses your risk of developing cardiovascular disease (CVD), and to monitor treatment of cardiovascular disease. The CBC or Complete Blood Count gives important information about the kinds of numbers of cells in the blood, especially red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. A CBC helps your doctor check any symptoms, such as weakness, fatigue, or bruising, you may have; or help diagnose conditions like anemia, infection, and many other disorders. 

Male Prostate Specific Antigen 

Cost: $15.00 or for Age 60 + will be $5.00
This test, also known as a PSA test, is a test for males only; that checks an antigen substance produced by the prostate gland. Elevated PSA levels may indicate prostate cancer, a noncancerous condition such as prostatitis, or an enlarged prostate.

Hemoglobin A1C Diabetes Test 

Cost: $30.00 for ALL ages
This test is used as a screening tool for diabetes. It gives your doctor an indication of what the average blood sugar levels are during the previous two to three months.

Thyroid Stimulation Hormone Test (TSH)

Cost: $15.00 or for Age 60 + will be $5.00
This test screens for abnormal thyroid conditions.

Nephi Medical Clinic | Offering FREE Blood Sugar Glucose Testing.

Speech Therapy | Offering FREE Swallowing Screening. This is generally used to provide a quick determination of the likelihood that dysphagia exists.

Surgical Services | Offering Endoscopy and Colon Cancer Awareness.

Pharmacy Services | Offering FREE weekly pill case dispenser at the Retail Pharmacy, get Poison Prevention information, and a learn about Diabetic Education. They will also be talking about Opioid Awareness and how we can help lower the number of opioid related deaths and health problems.

Women and Newborn Services | Offering Obstetrics, Labor, and Newborn Information.

Radiology | Offering Bone density scanning (cost TBA), is an enhanced form of x-ray technology that is used to measure bone loss. DEXA is today's established standard for measuring bone mineral density (BMD); and Mammography Education and scheduling.

Physical Therapy | Offering FREE Concussion Screening and Sports Medicine information. About 300,000 sports- or recreation- related concussions are diagnosed nationwide yearly, but an estimated 85 percent of concussions go undiagnosed, according to the American College of Sports Medicine. Concussions are a huge issue for athletes, and this topic is currently in many of the professional leagues and media. A FREE, youth and high school athlete baseline concussion test will be available in conjunction with the health fair by appointment Tuesday, May 9th, Thursday, May 11 or at the health fair. Tuesday/Thursday appointments can be scheduled at CVMC Physical Therapy at 435-623-3045.

USU Extension Services will be explaining Food Sense and Eating Healthy,

PEAK ENT Associates will be onsite giving Hearing Screening with Dr. Curtis G. Thomas,

and Nephi Smiles Dental Clinic will be here with Oral Hygiene and Teeth Cleaning Information.
