Home Health Aide - CNA | Part-Time

Duties for This Position
The Home Health Aide is a paraprofessional member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Therapist in performing various personal care services to meet patient/client needs. The Home Health Aide observes patient/ client while documenting and reporting observations.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant

Experience

  • One year experience as a CNA is preferred

Required Skills

  • Must be flexible in a demanding environment
  • Must be able to prioritize and use good judgment while remaining calm during times of crisis
  • Strong organizational skills are required and the ability to coordinate a variety of pressing issues with frequent interruptions
  • Requires the ability to stand for long periods of time.

CNA Medical Surgical Floor | Part-Time-Nights

Duties For This Position

Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, you will assume responsibility for performing various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in providing the most compassionate care possible to our patients.  You will provide comfort and help with daily living needs, monitor vital signs and perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED 
  • Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant

Experience 

  • One year experience working as a CNA preferred

  • Must be flexible in a demanding environment
  • Must be able to prioritize and use good judgment while remaining calm during times of crisis

Operating Room (OR) Orderly |  Part-Time

Duties for This Position
Under the general direction of the OR Circulating RN, the OR Orderly will assist in setting up the OR Suite in preparation for various surgical procedures and includes setting up fracture table for orthopedic procedures.  May help transfer patient to and from OR area. Terminally cleans operating room suites and other restricted areas. Assists in maintaining cleanliness of equipment and may assist with processing and cleaning of instruments.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • Experience in cleaning OR may be helpful

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to get along with co-workers is critical
  • Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a demanding environment
  • Must be able to prioritize and use good judgment while remaining calm during times of crisis
  • Requires ability to hear and follow instructions
  • Attention to detail and the ability to anticipate the needs of OR staff is important.
