RN Registered Nurse Med/Surg |  Part-Time-Night Shift

Duties for This Position

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients utilizing accepted nursing procedures. You will administer medications and treatment as ordered by the physician and assume responsibility for directing, monitoring and evaluating the care delegated to non-licensed personnel. You will uphold the standard of professional nursing care with compassion and concern for the comfort of an infant child through geriatric patient population.

Education Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited School of Nursing

Certification, Registration, or Licensure

  • Current Utah R.N. license
  • Current CPR
  • ACLS Certification
  • PALS Certificaiton

Experience

  • One year experience preferred.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional customer service and computer skills required. 
  • Excellent interpersonal capabilities and ability to communicate effectively are essential.

Hospital Pharmacy Technician | Part-Time

Duties for This Position
Under the direction of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician performs crucial duties that help the pharmacy run efficiently. The technician accurately and proficiently prepares prescription orders and verifies prescription information, including proper dosage. Enters patient and order information into the pharmacy system. Processes and submits insurance claim information. Receives and stores incoming supplies, verify quantities against invoices and keeps pharmacist apprised of stock needs and shortages.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduation from accredited School of Pharmacy Technology
  • Certification as Certified Pharmacy Technician

Experience

  • One year experience preferred.

Dietary Cook | Part-Time

As a member of the dietary team, you will prepare a variety of nutritious, appetizing food service items and meals for patients and staff by following established hospital recipes and guidelines. Food services employees will adhere to all sanitation and food handling codes. 

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • One year institutional cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of modified diets
  • Advanced cook/chill technology helpful

Medical Technologist - Full Time | Benefits

Duties for This Position
As a Medical Technologist, you will work under the direction of the Lab Manager. The MT performs clinical testing in a blood bank, chemistry, serology, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, special chemistry, and microbiology. Obtains or receives specimens, and performs laboratory tests according to established procedures. Understands methods and principles, performs and evaluates quality control on a daily basis. Performs preventive maintenance on instrumentation and interprets results as to their accuracy, acceptability and critical limits and informs physician/nurse accordingly. Will also oversee MLT and Lab Assistant.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in biological science
  • ASCP Certification as a Medical Technologist or equivalency.

  • Strong communication skills and independent judgment.

  • Strong computer capabilities.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.

CNA Medical Surgical Floor | Part-Time-Nights

Duties For This Position

Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, you will assume responsibility for performing various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in providing the most compassionate care possible to our patients.  You will provide comfort and help with daily living needs, monitor vital signs and perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED 
  • Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant

Experience 

  • One year experience working as a CNA preferred.

Must be flexible in a demanding environment.  Must be able to prioritize and use good judgment while remaining calm during times of crisis.  Strong organizational skills are required and the ability to coordinate a variety of pressing issues with frequent interruptions.  Requires the ability to stand for long periods of time.

Operating Room (OR) Surgical Tech | Full-time and Part-time

Duties for this Position

Under the direction of the OR Manager, the Surgical Technician assists the surgical team by acting as the primary scrub person who handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures. Maintains constant vigilance for the maintenance of the sterile field. Assists with maintaining equipment, instruments, and inventory. The current position is designed to focus primarily on covering C-Section Call and assisting in Central Processing.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Surgical Technology
  • Certification as a Certified Surgical Technician

Operating Room (OR) Orderly |  Part-Time

Duties for This Position
Under the general direction of the OR Circulating RN, the OR Orderly will assist in setting up the OR Suite in preparation for various surgical procedures and includes setting up fracture table for orthopedic procedures.  May help transfer patient to and from OR area. Terminally cleans operating room suites and other restricted areas. Assists in maintaining cleanliness of equipment and may assist with processing and cleaning of instruments.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • Experience in cleaning OR may be helpful.

Required Skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to get along with co-workers is critical. Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a demanding environment. Must be able to prioritize and use good judgment while remaining calm during times of crisis. Requires ability to hear and follow instructions.  Attention to detail and the ability to anticipate the needs of OR staff is important.
