RN Registered Nurse - Emergency Department |  Full-Time / Nights

Duties For This Position

As a registered nurse working in the Emergency Department, you will provide emergent nursing care to patients utilizing accepted nursing procedures. You will administer medications and treatment as ordered by the physician and assume responsibility for directing, monitoring and evaluating the care delegated to non-licensed personnel. You will uphold the standard of professional nursing care with compassion and concern for the comfort of an infant child through geriatric patient population.

Education Requirements

A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Certification, Registration, or Licensure

  • Current Utah RN license
  • Current CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Experience

One year experience in an emergency department preferred.

Required Skills

Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.  Excellent organizational skills. Flexibility in a demanding environment and ability to prioritize utilizing good judgment.  Flexibility in scheduling, i.e., nights weekends, holidays.

Information Technology Specialist

Duties for This Position
The IT Specialist provides software and network support, training, and troubleshooting in a networked microcomputer environment. Delivers support on a wide range of proprietary applications, including Microsoft and Novell/Micro Focus products. Installs, configures, and maintains a wide range of software used throughout the hospital and performs hardware/software upgrades to existing computer equipment. Trains users in startup, basic and advanced use of software programs including Excel, WordPerfect, Cerner, and other network operating systems.
 

Minimum Education Requirements
Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field.
 

Certification, Registration, or Licensure
None

Experience
Minimum of two years experience in IT Systems Administration. IT experience in a clinical setting preferred.
 

Required Skills
Strong computer capabilities. Proficient knowledge of patient flow activity. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be flexible in a demanding environment and be able to prioritize, using good judgment. Requires ability to coordinate a variety of issues while being frequently interrupted and remain calm during times of crisis. Must communicate effectively with individuals and large groups.  Ability to work with diverse groups including physicians, managers, and clinical personnel.

Receptionist – Nephi Clinic – Full Time

Central Valley Medical Center is expanding. We are searching for new receptionists to assist several new physicians who will be joining the organization this year.

Duties for This Position
As a Clinic Receptionist, you will courteously greet all patients visiting the clinic, answer and operate a multi-line telephone system, schedule patients and update necessary personal patient information in the clinic data base. You will collect insurance co-pays and secure sufficient insurance information to permit reimbursement for services rendered. You will assist with referrals and prior authorizations for patients. You will prepare claims to submit to primary and secondary insurance companies for payment on patient accounts and work with insurance companies to resolve issues impeding payment.


Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED


Experience
One year clerical experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
 

Required Skills
Excellent computer skills required. Typing and ten key capabilities. Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful

Medical Assistant - (Full Time/Benefits)

Duties for this Position

As a Medical Assistant (MA) in the Nephi Medical Clinic you will work under the general direction of the physician.  The MA performs all tasks related to the efficient operation of the doctor's office. The MA will also perform a variety of tasks and procedures that require independent judgment at a level not requiring constant supervision.

Education Requirements  

High School diploma or GED.  Graduation from an accredited school or college program for Medical Assisting.  Certification as Certified Medical Assistant preferred.     

Experience

One year experience as a trained MA preferred.  

Required Skills

Excellent computer skills required.  Knowledge of medical office procedures and processes.  Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Home Health RN (Registered Nurse) | Full-Time / Part-Time Available

Duties for This Position
The Home Health RN provides nursing care to patients/clients as requested by the patient/client and, when required, as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policy. By seeking and obtaining sufficient information to function effectively, the Home Health RN will supervise and coordinate all patient care within nursing and between departments and provide the highest standard of care in meeting the needs, conditions, and care of the patient population.

Education Requirements
A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Certification, Registration, or Licensure

  • Current  Utah R.N. license
  • Current CPR

Dietary Cook | Part-Time

As a member of the dietary team, you will prepare a variety of nutritious, appetizing food service items and meals for patients and staff by following established hospital recipes and guidelines. Food services employees will adhere to all sanitation and food handling codes.

Experience

One year institutional cooking experience preferred.  Knowledge of modified diets and advanced cook/chill technology helpful.

Requires the ability to read, comprehend and follow standardized recipes and instructions.
