Duties for This Position
As a member of the Housekeeping Team, you will perform a variety of important cleaning tasks and provide patients, staff, and visitors a safe and clean environment that promotes health and healing. You will protect patients from infection and disease by maintaining strict standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED

Experience
One year experience in healthcare setting preferred.

Required Skills
Requires the ability to read, comprehend and follow standardized processes and instructions.

Dietary Cook | Full-Time and Part-Time

Duties For This Position

As a member of the dietary team, you will prepare a variety of nutritious, appetizing food service items and meals for patients and staff by following established hospital recipes and guidelines. Food services employees will adhere to all sanitation and food handling codes. 

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • One year institutional cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of modified diets
  • Advanced cook/chill technology helpful

Operating Room (OR) Surgical Tech | Full-time and Part-time

Duties for this Position

Under the direction of the OR Manager, the Surgical Technician assists the surgical team by acting as the primary scrub person who handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures. Maintains constant vigilance for the maintenance of the sterile field. Assists with maintaining equipment, instruments, and inventory. The current position is designed to focus primarily on covering C-Section Call and assisting in Central Processing.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Surgical Technology
  • Certification as a Certified Surgical Technician

RN Registered Nurse Same Day Surgery | Part-time

Duties for This Position
As a registered nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients utilizing accepted nursing procedures. You will administer medications and treatment as ordered by the physician and assume responsibility for directing, monitoring and evaluating the care delegated to non-licensed personnel. You will uphold the standard of professional nursing care with compassion and concern for the comfort of an infant child through geriatric patient population.

Education Requirements

  • A graduate of accredited School of Nursing.

Certification, Registration, or Licensure

  • Current  Utah R.N. license, current CPR, ACLS and PALS certification

Experience

  • One year experience preferred

Required Skills

Operating Room (OR) Orderly |  Part-Time

Duties for This Position
Under the general direction of the OR Circulating RN, the OR Orderly will assist in setting up the OR Suite in preparation for various surgical procedures and includes setting up fracture table for orthopedic procedures.  May help transfer patient to and from OR area. Terminally cleans operating room suites and other restricted areas. Assists in maintaining cleanliness of equipment and may assist with processing and cleaning of instruments.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • Experience in cleaning OR may be helpful.

Required Skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to get along with co-workers is critical. Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a demanding environment. Must be able to prioritize and use good judgment while remaining calm during times of crisis. Requires ability to hear and follow instructions.  Attention to detail and the ability to anticipate the needs of OR staff is important.

RN Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery | Full-Time, Part Time, PRN

Medical Assistant - (Full Time/Benefits)

Duties for this Position

As a Medical Assistant (MA) in the Nephi Medical Clinic, you will work under the general direction of the physician.  The MA performs all tasks related to the efficient operation of the doctor's office. The MA will also perform a variety of tasks and procedures that require independent judgment at a level not requiring constant supervision.

Education Requirements  

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Graduation from an accredited school or college program for Medical Assisting
  • Certification as Certified Medical Assistant preferred  

Experience

  • One year experience as a trained MA preferred.  

Required Skills

Excellent computer skills required.  Knowledge of medical office procedures and processes.  Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Home Health RN (Registered Nurse) | Full-Time / Part-Time Available

The Home Health RN provides nursing care to patients/clients as requested by the patient/client and, when required, as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policy. By seeking and obtaining sufficient information to function effectively, the Home Health RN will supervise and coordinate all patient care within nursing and between departments and provide the highest standard of care in meeting the needs, conditions, and care of the patient population.

Education Requirements
A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Certification, Registration, or Licensure

  • Current  Utah R.N. license
  • Current CPR
